Blackguard/Broadcaster Single-Coil Pickup Set

$450.00

Made with Period-Correct components and wound with my secret-sauce, these Single-Coil Pickups capture the sound of the earliest Fender Guitars. Tailor-made to your output preferences . Unlike every other builder out there I use the correct aged A3 magnets for the bridge pickup for “the” most authentic early Blackguard tone. A3 bridge, A5 neck and 43 gauge Formvar wire. By the time the Tele came along they changed the magnets and the wire. A Broadcaster not only has all the classic Tele tones but a much sweeter and dynamic tone, especially the bridge pickup and the middle position that has a certain “magic” that is a game changer. A Tele does not have the complexities as both pickups use the same magnets.
